Summary: The 4th International Conference on Estuaries and Coasts (ICEC-2012) will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, co-organized by Water Resources University and the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES). The ICEC2012 aims at providing a forum for discussion and exchange among researchers and scientists in the field of estuary and coast.

The conference will be held at Water Resources University (WRU), Vietnam using primarily the facilities at the university.
Water Resources University, Vietnam
Water Resources University is the only university in Vietnam providing high-level education and training in most of majors relating to water resources, natural disaster prevention and mitigation and environment protection.As of 2008, the University has 7 institutes and faculties (namely Institute of Construction Engineering, Institute of Water resources engineering, Institute of Hydrology and Natural disaster prevention, Institute of Environment, Faculty of Mechanics, Faculty of Energy, Faculty of Coastal Engineering).
Currently, number of its staff is 941 people, including 212 managerial staff and 729 academic staff.
Since 1990s, the University has developed and fostered fruitful cooperation with many universities and training institutions in the world, such as the Netherlands, Denmark, Italia, German, China, US, Russia, India, Lao PDR, Cambodia, etc. The university also helps train high-quality staff in the fields of water resources - hydropower electricity - environment for several neighbouring countries such as Laos and Cambodia.
Regarding infrastructure and logistical capacity, the university is now capable of function workshops of many sizes as featured 6 conferences rooms with capacities from 100 to 1000 participants.
Access to Hanoi and the venue:
Thanks to its geographical vantage point, Hanoi can be accessible by airlines, road, waterway, and rail transport. Available airlines operating in Vietnam includes Vietnam Airline, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Japan Airline, Qantas Airline, Cathay Pacific Airways, Laos Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, etc. It takes about 50 minutes to go from Noi Bai international Airport to WRU. Available transportation means from and to airport are taxi, shuttle buses etc. Average cost from airport by taxi is 350,000 VND (equal to 20 US$) and by bus is 25,000 (1.5 US$).

Step 0: Prepare your full manuscript in MS WORD according our provided WORD template and name your file as Your abstract ID_YOUR LAST NAME.Doc(x), e.g. K10_Lee.doc
Step 1: Following this link: http://icec2012.wru.edu.vn/OnlineregistrationPapersubmission.aspx or go to homepage of The ICEC2012 ( http://icec2012.wru.edu.vn/ ) and click on "Online Registration and Paper Submission", you are now entering the New submission system of ICEC2012.
Step 2: Click on the first tab: "1. My account". In here, please do a quick register for your new account by click on Register, that stay just below the Log- in tool, and filling a quick registration form. (Please note that all registered accounts from the OLD system i.e before 15th May 2012 are now disable, so please ignore that if you had have one and do a new register with the new system).
Step 3: Login the NEW Submission System with your new account and move to the second Tab "2.Update my profile" to update your profile and click Save.
Step 4: Move to the third Tab "3.Submit my paper" to upload your full paper manuscript and click on DONE. You will be confirmed directly by an pop-up message and an email when your paper is uploaded successfully.
Step 5: View your submitted paper: you can view your paper submission by click on My Submission.
